Born in Tokyo to a Japanese father and a Canadian mother, he immigrated to Vancouver at the age of five. The cultural shift experienced at a young age while being raised in a dual culture family that promoted critical thinking, set the tone for providing unique perspectives to solve problems.

Based in Port Alberni, BC, Kenji made the move with his family from the Mainland in May 2022. Kenji enjoys his family, the outdoors, renovation projects, skiing, cooking and staying in shape.
